Consider this: If you block dates, any request for a reservation that our agents enter into the software when working with a prospective tenant will NOT show your property as a possibility if any one of the days the customer has requested is blocked. If renting your property is your top priority, we recommend waiting until the last possible moment to enter your reservation.

On the other hand, if it is extremely important that your property be available for your use on certain dates, you should enter your reservation as soon as you know your arrival and departure dates, so there is no possibility of our agents renting a date that you want for yourself.

For vacation rental owners: Making a reservation for your property

A tutorial for making an owner reservation may be found here.  You will need the username and password that was sent to you via email.

Note that you may need the following instructions to supplement the tutorial: The first step in the tutorial says, "Go to your property on the site."

The way to do that is as follows: Click on the city where your property is located.  Scroll down the list of properties until you locate your property (by the property name, above) and click to open.

Owners should also be reminded of the following:  While the booking engine will calculate the dollar amount that a paying guest would pay to use your property, of course there is no charge to property owners who book their own stay, other than housekeeping charges.

You will be asked to sign into your account.  An account has already been set up for you.  Please note that this is not the same as your Property Plus account.  You have a new username and password assigned to you.

Be sure to enter into the Comments box any details regarding housekeeping arrangements you would like.
