My family and I visit the Monterey area every summer. After always staying in hotels we decided to try and find a house to stay in. After a few years of searching we finally found a home that we really loved staying at. The Coastal Cottage is located in an awesome spot in Pacific Grove and it was short drives everywhere we went. It's also a short walk to a walking trail along the coast line.
Everything the house had to offer was great! We look forward to staying at the Coastal Cottage next summer!!
Lovely and relaxing

We stayed at the Coastal Cottage during the week of our daughter's graduation from the Defense Language Institute. It was the perfect place for our family to relax and enjoy time together. Monterey Rentals took care of everything and made our stay perfect!
Tranquility in Pacific Grove

Coastal Cottage is situated on the 17-Mile Drive in the quietest residential neighborhood I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. Clean and cozy, the Cottage was well equipped for either short or long term stays. Deer frequently visit to graze and a lovely golf course is within immediate walking distance. Downtown PG is a five minute drive. We are planning another visit this fall, so I studied the PG and Monterey rental listings from MBPM, but we will stick with Coastal Cottage. Thanks for a great stay!

Very cozy, near the water, and a HOUSE not a condo….is a GOOD THING.

I enjoyed being in a house instead of a condo…….NO STAIRS for a change was greatfor me……I stayed for a month so I had a LOT to unload. The circular driveway was soEasy to unload and LOAD at the end. It was in front of the door !!!! Piece of cake !!!!
I prefer staying in Pebble Beach as I love the views at Ocean Pines. Next time for sure.
There were some issues at the house……Michelle was always there to tell me what to do.Shane, the handyman, was WONDERFUL. He was so busy BUT had time to fix the lock, change the garbage can in the kitchen ( his idea ) and other suggestions for me alone.Monterey Rentals is the BEST Co. on the peninsula to deal with. They do a GREAT JOB.
PS This house is advertised as "sleeps 6" but the LARGE coffee table in front of sofa/bed istoo hard to slide and there is NO Room to move it anywhere IF you could slide it over. I wasunable to make use of that queen sleeper bed for additional guests. Too crowded in that family room near the kitchen for 2 more people in my opinion. Shane said to add more slidersto the Big Burl coffee table in order to move it…….but there is nowhere to move it.
A relaxing, comfortable and well appointed cottage near the golf

We enjoyed our monthly stay for the 4th year at this relaxing, comfortable and well appointed cottage near the golf course away from the hustle and bustle of Lover's Point and downtown but close enough to walk. We love watching the golfers tee off while we eat breakfast! We also enjoyed off-street parking and having a place to keep our bicycles in the garage.
