Amazing

Stayed at the White House for a 2024 planning conference. One of the very best places I have ever stayed. Tons of seating for meals. King beds in all rooms. Absolutely beautiful view. One big beautiful package. Very small garage but we didn't use it... more anyway. Host was amazing and the process was seamless. Photos are all they reflect. Thanks so much for accommodating us. Wonderful stay!

Our family of 4 adults loved this house. It was so clean and comfortable. Because of the great weather we had, we were on the front deck most of the time, watching the action at the beach. Seeking Seashells

Great location with lots of room to spread out. Great view sitting in the living room and in the game nook. We did not cook there, but there seemed to be all the necessary pots and pans and the kitchen looked new. Plenty of fridge... more space too. We walked to several eating establishments. We mostly used the free parking lot across the street to park overnight but there is a garage. Several deer meandered in the streets in the mornings and evenings. Would definitely stay here again. less

Beautiful remodeled and modern insides with amazing views

This was my second time staying here, and we returned to give another part of my family the wonderful experience we had last year. The house is light and modern inside, with lots of room for people to gather for different activities. My grandson did... more college tests in the study area, while others sat in the nook people/classic car watching or doing the puzzles we brought with us. The runners loved the cliff trail to Asilomar, some went kayaking in Elkhorn Slough, seals were pupping so checking new arrivals was simply a few minutes walk down to Monterey. We all loved the choices to eat out. Monterey and Carmel are very close - Pacific Grove and Monterey we could walk to a restaurant of choice, Carmel is a lovely drive whether via the 17-mile drive or the highway and further down the coast we went to the Calla Lily gulch, which amazed the East coast residents. Despite the usual foggy mornings and evenings and the prevailing coastal winds, one day was warm enough to eat out on the deck; however, that is not to be counted on as coastal weather is generally cool and windy. The kitchen is nicely laid out, so we cooked in often and shopping is only a few miles away. It is a perfect house for families - we had a teenage boy who loved it and the area, as well as 50-79 yr olds. In general, the kitchen had all you needed, tho a few things had disappeared since last year - the most critical being a wine opener!!! However, the owner/manager is very quick to respond to any problems you have. This is a wonderfully relaxing place to rent - no parking issues, no noise - tho it is busier on the weekends - Pacific Grove is a laid-back town. less

White House on Monterey Bay

The location of this property, right on Lover's Cove in Pacific Grove, is perfect for walking to the open sea, sauntering into Monterey or Pacific Grove for coffee or lunch, or driving into Carmel for dinner. Waking to the sounds of seals and gulls, hearing the sounds of the waves breaking onto the rocks, watching the surfers and boogie boarders are memories that the five of us will share forever. The home was perfect for the six of us adults. We prepared large dinners in the spacious kitchen each night then gathered around the beautiful dining table. We played cards on the table in a nook overlooking Lovers Point when it was raining and spent many many hours on the beautiful Trex front deck around a counter height fire pit table watching the activities around Lovers Point, whales and an incredible show of the migration of sea lions coming from the Channel Islands. We walked in every direction, up to the downtown area thru the shops, down the paths along the ocean. Excellent location. Three comfortable king beds with great pillows. 2 Large walk in closets, dressers and an armoire in 3rd bedroom provided plenty of space for clothes and luggage. Small garage under deck fit Acura RDX, anything larger probable should park on the street. We had 2 additional SUVs Street side with no problem. Excellent vacation. Hoping this will be a yearly trip for our family. less

Wonderful location and ambience

The outside looks quaint, the inside looks completely redone recently by a professional with very good taste. Unlike a lot of rentals, we felt we could live here happily for a long time. There is plenty of free street parking in the area if you have more than one car and it is within walking distance of Monterey, Asilomar, and Pacific Grove - there are many trails to choose from. We made day trips to the Big Sur area and Carmel, but mostly walked out the front door and explored the area. A bonus is that there are lots of very good restaurants in the area if you do not feel like cooking in the very large and well-appointed kitchen. All in all, a place to happily return to. less

Perfect Location, Luxurious Accommodation

This house was exactly what our two families needed after an exhilarating Yosemite vacation. The kids loved playing at Lovers Point and in the quaint front room of the house. The house allows guests to be together but also apart in our own little spaces to recoup and regenerate. Everything in The White House is brand new and beautifully constructed. While perfectly quaint, the feeling of luxury is ever present. Cannery Row (and the world class aquarium) is a twenty minute walk along the bay where we encountered sea lions and a cultural art display. Bug Sur is only 45 min south. The White House has nice touches such as toiletries, beautiful artwork, and guide books of the surrounding area for guests to read. The kitchen is well provisioned and the management company is extremely responsive and supportive. We highly recommend The White House for your next stay in Monterey Bay. less

Amazing stay

We had such a great stay at The White House in Pacific Grove. Our vacation was originally planned for a wedding, which due to Covid-19, was cancelled. We decided to travel anyway and am so glad we did. Kyle was very helpful with managing our... more stay as our flights had changed multiple times. We also traveled as some wildfires were causing smoke and ash in the area, he offered to let us reschedule. The house itself has everything you need from appliances, to linens and a grill out back. Plenty of space and seating for everyone. We loved sitting on the deck and looking at the water and people going by. We had nightly visits from some deer too :) It's a great location to downtown and nearby golfing. We would definitely come back and stay here again! less

Very nice property. Home was very clean and well appointed. Beautiful view from the house and especially nice while dining on the porch. Fit for three kings

The house is bright and open with three king beds, one of which adjusts and massages! The appliances are modern and the windows double panel for sound insulation from the street. Our family of 5 had a great time staying at the White House for 4 nights. The home is in a great location, very clean, plenty of room and had everything we could ask for in a vacation rental. The location was perfect: nice walk... more to the Cannery/Aquarium/Wharf, minutes from great cafes/restaurants/shops along Lighthouse Ave and of course you're right across the street from Lover's Point. I was a little concerned about backing out of the garage onto a busy street but it was never an issue. My wife and I also loved getting to sit out on the deck each night and enjoy a glass of wine at sunset. We would highly recommend this home and are looking forward to coming back. less

The house is walking distance to the beach, the bike path, and the adorable downtown... more Pacific Grove cafes and bakeries. Having a barbecue and fully stocked kitchen was great and made preparing meals for our family a breeze. Also, we fully took advantage of the fire-pit table on the front patio. The house was clean and well maintained with lots of nice finishes. The communication from Monterey Bay Rentals was clear and easy to understand. Great Location! On-Site Garage Parking! Immaculate Place!

We loved this place! We were a little concerned when we didn't see any reviews. All of our worries completely went away when we pulled up to the house and walked in the door. The three large king bedrooms give plenty of room for our family. The management company is extremely responsive and made our stay easy.
