Wonderful Place to stay in Pacific Grove!
My stay at A Tiny House was perfect for me as a single woman. I was in town attending a workshop for 3 days. A Tiny House had everything I needed and I felt perfectly safe there. It’s a great location near shops and restaurants... more and close to the ocean. I highly recommend staying there. less

Cozy Quiet Getaway
This tiny house was perfect for my weekend getaway. Clean, conveniently located and very quiet. I have stayed in other places in the area but this has been the quietest and easiest parking. I was always able to park right in front each time I... more came and went. Would definitely stay here again! less

Had a wonderful stay at this “tiny” home, while it may be small, it is extremely efficient and was perfect size and location for my husband and I! Pacific Grove is a beautiful little town, and because of the location, we were able to walk... more almost everywhere! With only 1-2 blocks to the scenic waterfront walkway, we walked every morning before beginning our day. Positioned within minutes of Pebble Beach, and Carmel…..and also driving down the Pacific Coast Highway and easy access to State Parks/hiking, into the Valleys for wine tasting, this house was a welcomed place to return to each evening. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet!! less

What a great little find. Spent car week at this quiet, cozy small home. At first, we noticed the color of the house had changed to a Navy Blue which made us a little concerned (didn't match the online photo). Once we went inside, we... more were pleasantly surprised on how clean it was and equipped with the basic needs. Hubby loved being able to park his "baby" in the driveway. We enjoyed having a TV in the bedroom, (many rentals don't have one in the bedroom). The only negatives: 1) a very small backyard area, overgrown and not to usable. Maybe clean and set it up better before each guest. 2) Add an ottoman or small coffee table in front of the couch, that would be a plus. Overall, we would rent this location again! less

This tiny house was not that tiny! It felt quite spacious inside. It is in a great location two blocks from lovers point. It had everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again.

This cottage is just perfect for one or two people. It's in a great location and is VERY clean! The pictures don't do it justice. My only suggestion would be to cover the front door window more securely as in the evening you can see... more right through the sheer curtain into the living room. less
— Mila, Stayed 05/23/2022
Thank you for bringing this to our attention! The owner is replacing the front door window covering with something less sheer for added privacy.
Monterey Tiny House
Very nice spot. Clean, modern, and well located for a stay in Monterey

We enjoyed our stay at the “Tiny House” in Pacific Grove.” The location was ideal. Within walking distance to Monterey Bay/Lovers Point & also Lighthouse Ave. (restaurants, shops, etc) The house itself was cute & perfect for 2 people. Some of the things we noticed... more though: 1) The Front SCREEN Door doesn’t close properly. Not sure if the wood is buckled/warped because of the Bay weather? We could never get it to shut or latch it closed. Needs some work to be done on it. 2) Supply at least 1 roll of Paper Towels for guests staying 3 days. We didn’t find any. It’s just good to have a roll in the kitchen. 3) The front door, after putting the door code in, requires a shove to open it. Again, not sure if the weather conditions affect the wood. Overall we had a great time and would love to revisit the property! Thank You! Clarence & Pauline Hutchens less

Make it better
Make this great place even better with these SIMPLE things: 1. hang a full length mirror behind the bedroom door, 2. Put stronger light bulbs in the bedroom lamps for reading, and 3. Supply a tv/cable guide. The Tiny House is charming and comfortable!

Great Location, Lovely Home and Very Clean
We have rented many homes in Pacific Grove over the years. This tiny home was PERFECT!. The quiet neighborhood and easy walking access to markets, restaurants, and activities made our stay very enjoyable. If you are there on Monday, be sure to check out the... more PG farmer's market just two blocks away (4 to 7 pm). We loved the cleanliness of the home, the comfy bed, books, washer/dryer, grill, and extra amenities (two TVs). We will certainly visit again soon. Thanks Kyle and staff. less

Nice, quiet, clean little bungalow.
A perfect little house for two people. The home was immaculate when we arrived and had everything you could want for a nice stay. The bed was very comfortable but the living room furniture was a little uncomfortable. I would have liked a better outdoor... more seating area, the back yard was unkept and the furniture was dirty. The front porch was a little small for two chairs but we made it work. A lovely little place and we'll stay again! less

The tiny house was perfect for our visit - FAR better than if we had spent the week at a hotel. Perfect location to walk to many restaurants, coffee shop, ocean and more! Off street parking available, if you have a tiny car!! Ours was... more too big, so we had to park on the street, WHICH is very quiet! Easy check in and out! less

Tiny House stay
We really enjoyed our stay at the Tiny House. We walked pretty much everywhere we went, so the location is perfect. We did wish that there was a thicker blanket or an additional one, it would also be nice to have more than 3 coffee... more cups and 4 small plates to keep from running the dishwasher constantly. Over all, it was a clean, cute place and we enjoyed our stay. Janell Wait less

A wonderful house for my sister and I to have a birthday getaway. The location is ideal. We walked everywhere, from the beautiful seaside trail to the restaurants and shops just blocks away. And this tiny house is not so tiny! Inside is actually rather... more spacious compared to the tight squeeze of other tiny houses I've stayed at. It was perfect! less

Beautiful cottage in Pacific Grove
Beautiful, quiet and comfortable place for 2, biking distance to Monterey to go to the Cannery, short driving distance to Carmel and 17 mile scenic drive at Pebble Beach. I Loved The Tiny House
I’m an annual visitor to Pacific Grove, and have enjoyed an assortment of rental homes for close to two decades. The Tiny House, where I spent three weeks in February 2020, is now one of my favorites. While the square footage is small, the design... more of the house is bright and airy, and the amenities (including an excellent shower, efficient washer and dryer, a very comfortable bed, a well-equipped kitchen, and attractive furnishings) easily meet (and exceed) the expectations of short-term visitors. The location is outstanding, perfectly situated between the recreation path and Pacific Grove’s delightful main street, and offers ready access to the excellent regional transit system. The street is quiet and the neighborhood is welcoming. I look forward to returning to The Tiny House. less

my 60th birthday!
My husband booked this tiny house for my birthday weekend and it was perfect! Easy walking distance to Lighthouse Ave, our favorite place for restaurants in Pacific Grove. Charming, clean and comfortable!
My husband and I came to California to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice of accommodations for our first time to this area. The location was perfect! We were close to most everything we wanted to see and... more do. We especially were happy to be close to the coastal trail for bike riding. The house was charming, bright, cheery and clean. It had everything we needed. After a long day exploring the area, it was so nice to have such a comfortable place to come back to each day. And being a block from downtown was awesome too. Easy check-in and checkout. Our hopes are to visit this area again and we would love to stay at the tiny house! less

Return to A Tiny House
Our second visit to A Tiny House, the first being in 2018. Monterey Bay Property Management took good care of us. They corrected a minor issue from the first trip, replacing a falling apart BBQ grill with a nice new version. This is a great... more little place to relax and take in all that Pacific Grove/Carmel/Monterey has to offer. Can't beat the location. The only issues, and not major problems: nicer wine glasses (larger!) would be nice. The glasses provided are serviceable but not great if you are any kind of wine geek. Also, the kitchen knives are very dull .... better to bring your own. I like to cook! Again these are minor issues, nothing that would keep us from coming back. One thing that was a problem was there's a new house being built directly behind A Tiny House. Pounding and power saws began at 8:00 and continued non-stop until 4:00 or 4:30. The weekend was quiet but very noisy on M/TU/WED/THURS. I'm sure this is a temporary problem but it would have been nice to have been told ahead of time about the construction. We might have decided on a different property. Not a deal breaker and we look forward to the next visit. Great little home in a terrific neighborhood. less

EVERYTHING YOU NEED
The Tiny House has everything you need for a wonderful stay in Monterey. We have stayed there 3 times and intend to return. Location to the ocean can’t be beat. I walk 4 miles every day and while at the tiny house I have the... more best views in the world. From the tiny house you can get to all the major attractions and restaurants in minutes. Tiny but Perfect
This was a wonderful place to stay for me and my teenage daughter. Just the right size and had everything we needed. Excellent location, close to Lovers Point and walkable to some great PG restaurants and cafes. I hope to be back again soon.

My wife and I booked a spur-of-the-moment getaway and BOY did we luck out! I almost hate to give this place the review it deserves because it will become so popular we'll never get back in....but that would be dishonest... This little place is fully... more equipped, centrally located (you can walk to Lover's Point and the beach, the Wharf and Cannery Row are minutes away) and quiet at night. We loved our stay and will return. less

The perfect place
The tiny house is located in one of the most beautiful places on earth. Each day I walked down the street to the Pacific and walked to Cannery Row. I stopped to see the seals on the beach. I took pictures to send home to... more friends to share the beauty. And, if you walk the other way on the street you are in the town of Pacific Grove with shops and restaurants to numerous to list. The house itself is just perfect for a couple or a young family. It has everything you need. We used the gas grill almost everyday. This year we could see the updates that were made to enhance the experience. My wife and I always say we wish we could just live forever in the Tiny House. less

A Tiny House is the perfect place to take in the beauty of Pacific Grove and adjoining Asilomar State Beach. Everything is within walking distance: downtown with great restaurants; Lover's Point and path to Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row; and beautiful Asilomar State Beach.... more I never had to get in my car once after I arrived which I loved! A Tiny House is in a very quiet and well manicured neighborhood. The house itself was very quaint and comfortable- and plenty spacious - not that "Tiny" - definitely a do again and I highly recommend it! less

Tiny House, Big Heart
We enjoyed our stay at the Tiny House. It was the perfect size for us 2. Location was great for Pacific Grove - just 3 easy walking blocks to the Pacific Grove shopping area, 3 easy blocks to Lovers Point Park area. Driving to the... more Aquarium and Fisherman's Wharf was easy. Walkable also but it would be a walk! The house itself would accommodate more than 2 but I think you would be bumping elbows. We were advised that parking was tight...and they were right. Driveway very small, street narrow. We brought our Rav fortunately and it barely fit! The neighborhood was quiet and very charming. The only negative was the A/C unit...we could not understand how to operate. It ran more than it needed to! Possibly more instructions for the unit would help. Our final day, as we were packing up the car, a deer walked up the street. It was the cherry on top! Would we stay there again - YES. Do we recommend it to others - YES. less
— ROBERT, Stayed 06/19/2018
Sounds like you had a great stay! A note on the A/C: the average high temperature on the Monterey Peninsula is 70 degrees, so our properties do not have air conditioning (you probably had the "fan" on the thermostat set to on, which circulates the air). We do supply all our homes with fans in case of an unseasonably warm day, but usually an open window and a sea breeze is all the cooling you will need.
Outstanding, great location, two blocks from the Ocean! Extremely clean and comfortable "little house". This is the nicest place we have ever stayed in!
— William, Stayed 06/11/2018
Wonderful little house
We stayed here for 6 nights, and wish we had discovered this house long ago. Quiet neighborhood, perfect house for two people, everything you need is there. There was absolutely nothing we needed or thought the house could use. We cooked most of our meals... more in and it was perfect. Close to town, the water, a short drive into Monterey/Carmel. The process through the rental agency was flawless!! This will be the first place to look for availability on our next visit to the area. less
— GLORIA, Stayed 05/17/2018
The Tiny House
Great little place.....perfect for two. Definitely will visit here again next trip. The kitchen was well stocked (I like to cook) with everything you need. My only complaint was that the house description included a comment that there was a grill. We’ll, there was a... more grill but when I went to open the door to turn on the gas, it fell off in my hand. Only two of the three burners worked so difficult to get the heat high enough to cook anything......good thing we like our burgers on the rare side. Just a minor issue that I’m sure will be addressed. Again, a nice little house close to the water......great for morning runs! Looking forward to the next visit. less
— Steve, Stayed 03/26/2018
Thank you for the heads up: we just replaced the barbecue grill, but we wish you would have called our 24 hour maintenance line so we could have done it while you were here!
Comfortable for two
What a comfortable little home, so close to the ocean, Monterey Aquarium, great walking path and shopping. Really enjoyed our time.

Location Location Location
For a Tiny House, It had all that was needed. The convenience of it's location made for a perfect stay in the great little town of Pacific Grove. My time was scheduled for the Monterey Historic race weekend. There was so much going on that... more it was almost impossible to take in all of the sights and sounds. It was a pleasure to return to the quiet Tiny House. I'll be booking again soon. less
