We rented the Rustic Adobe for 4 months while visiting my daughter and her family. We loved this little house that had everything we needed. Spacious, modern kitchen and bathrooms, beautiful master bedroom and patio, deck, and grill for outdoor living as well. Loved the blue jays who came to visit every day! Within 5 minutes of Monterey Bay, walking/bike trails, Aquarium, and downtown Pacific Grove. Would love to rent again next year.

We found the Rustic Adobe to be just that - quaint and cozy with that "cabin" feel. It is just the right amount of space for four people, with a spacious kitchen and wonderfully landscaped garden area. It is in a great location - close to shopping and restaurants in downtown Pacific Grove, Monterey, and Carmel, yet far enough out of town that you feel you are "in the woods". We enjoyed barbequing on the outdoor grill and appreciated the well-stocked Kitchen (most all basic appliances included).Since this is the first house we have rented for vacation (have done condos in the past), we don't have other properties to compare this one to, but we really enjoyed our stay, and plan to visit again!

Due the Concours D'Elegance in the Monterey Bay area having a significant impact with lodging needs, the utilization for the Rustic Adobe was a blessing for our firefighters. It reminded us of home especially for the many that have been away from family and home.

The Rustic Adobe was a great house we really enjoyed our stay. It was clean and comfortable and well appointed as well as reasonably priced. Check in and out was a breeze I would highly recommend the house to anyone. My husband is a chef and the only thing he didn't love was the electric stove.

The house was conveniently located and quiet. It needs up grades in furniture and lighting. There was not enough lighting in the living room for more than one person to read. The garden in the back was a mess and needs major attention.
Thank you so much for your comments - we shared them with the owner and she is in the process of upgrading the lighting and the furniture. The backyard is what we affectionately call a "natural, manicured landscape." Because the home sits on solid granite, and water is such a precious commodity on the Peninsula, there's not much we can do (especially in the middle of winter). However, we did just notice a few hardy bulbs popping up in anticipation of spring!

We had a very nice time. The house was conveniently located. We could easily get to the cannery, aquarium, wharf and 17 mile drive all within 10 minutes. The rate was very affordable. The furniture was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything but food. Evey little thing you can think to bring on a trip was already there. For example, the washroom was supplied with detergent and softener. You just had to bring your clothes and groceries. I felt like I had my home there. The wifi had a good signal. All in all, if you're looking for an affordable rate and nice place to stay at the is conveniently located, then there is you place.
One of our favorites.
