EQUIPMENT
Each
home is fully furnished and equipped with cookware,
dinnerware, and kitchen linen. Beds have mattress pads,
sheets, pillows and pillow cases, blankets and bed spreads or
comforters. There are at least one bath towel, hand towel, and
washcloth per person plus some extras. There will be enough
soap and paper products to get you started comfortably. (click

Telephones
All homes are
equipped with telephones for your convenience, so please
make as many local calls as you like! Long-distance calls
must be charged to your calling card or credit card. Each
long-distance call charged to the owner's telephone is
subject to a $10.00 collection fee plus the cost of the
call.
Maintenance
Monterey
Bay Property Management makes every effort to keep
properties in good working order, and we maintain a 24-hour
paging service for maintenance emergencies. However, no
guarantees or refunds are made with regard to the mechanical
failure of appliances, video/audio equipment, or any household
systems. On rare occasions, we are forced to wait for parts
and repairs beyond what would appear routine at your home.
However, the earlier you report a problem, the sooner we can
make it disappear!

Balance
Due
Your
lease agreement indicates the date your payment is due, so
please mark your calendar to insure our receipt of the balance
due in our office prior to that date! We will not be sending
you any further notification! Upon receipt, you will be sent
confirmation of your reservation, a map to the unit you have
rented, and key instructions.
Departure
and Refund of Security Deposit
Check-out
time is 11:00 am. Prior to 11:00 am, please clean all dishes
as well as the barbecue if you used it, spot any carpet
spills, put trash in the outside bin, and pile used linens in
a heap near the laundry or the door. At this time, a cleaning
crew will arrive at your unit to launder linens, remake beds,
restock soap and paper supplies, vacuum and dust, clean the
kitchen and baths, and prepare the house for the next guests.
These services are covered by your cleaning fee. The cost of
cleaning the carpet, as well as any missing linens or
accidental damage to the home will be deducted from your
security deposit and/or charged to the credit card on
file. Any balance will be returned within 21 days of your
departure.
Cancellations
In
case your plans change unexpectedly, your reservation may be
changed for only a $35 processing fee. In case of cancellation
up to 60 days prior to arrival, only your non-refundable down payment
is forfeited.

Returned
Checks
We
hate to do it, but returned checks cost us money and labor! A
$25 charge will be levied for any checks that are returned to
us by your bank.
Smoking
Our
accommodations are nonsmoking. If you are a smoker, please
consider whether or not you are willing to smoke outside and
to properly dispose of all remains. If you are not, please do
not request the rental of the homes we manage. Disregarding
this portion of the contract will result in forfeiture of your
security deposit and/or charges for cleanup.
Pets
We regret
that pets are not allowed in our homes, since a
subsequent tenant may have an allergy to animals or asthma.
Tenants are subject to immediate eviction without refund if
pets are found on the premises of any home not allowing pets.
Disregarding this portion of the contract will result in
forfeiture of your security deposit and/or charges for
cleanup.
Parties
The
owners we represent do not allow parties without prior
permission. Monterey Bay Property Management reserves the
right to terminate occupancy without refund should this occur.
Any cleanup or damage charges will be charged to the guest's
credit card.
Responsible
Groups Only
Rental
properties are available to family groups and responsible
adult groups only. Should a group misrepresent itself,
Monterey Bay Property Management reserves the right to
terminate the contract immediately without refund.
Items
Left Behind
Monterey Bay
Property Management will be happy to attempt to retrieve and
mail items to you if we are able to locate them; we make no
guarantees! Please be prepared to give the agent a credit card
number to which the shipping and handling costs can be
charged.
Errors
All
units are privately owned and reflect the taste of the
individual owners. Every effort has been made to ensure
accurate descriptions; however, Monterey Bay Property
Management is not responsible for changes in furnishings, bed
arrangements and equipment made by the homeowner, or for
printing errors.
