Conveniently located just one and a half blocks from Carmel Plaza, "Race Away Cottage" is a charming two bedroom, two bathroom traditional Cape Cod style bungalow. Enjoy the warm cozy feeling it inspires as soon as you pull into the driveway! Upon entering, you will marvel at the bright open feeling of the interior. The step down, high ceiling, French inspired living room features a gas log fireplace and two walls of windows overlooking the front flower garden. It's a comfortable place to relax and enjoy a good book or CD, watch a movie on cable TV/DVD, or surf the net with high-speed DSL.

Cooking will be a pleasure in the modern kitchen fully equipped with stainless steel appliances including a self-cleaning electric oven, gas range with grill, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and disposal. With granite countertops, hardwood floors, window-lined dining area and cathedral ceiling, the spacious open kitchen area makes a perfect place for entertaining. A washer and electric dryer are conveniently located behind louvered doors in the kitchen.

Step up three steps to the two bedrooms and two full baths. Both bedrooms feature large, walk-in closets with plenty of storage space. Decorated in cheery yellow and blue with plush carpeting, the master bedroom makes a very inviting retreat. A gas log fireplace takes the chill off those cool Carmel evenings, and French doors which open onto the private sunbathing deck allow you to enjoy the morning sunshine in warmer weather. In addition to a king size bed, the master bedroom offers a seating area with a view of the back flower garden and flat panel CATV. The luxurious master bath offers an oversized glass shower enclosure, custom tiling, double vanity sinks, and a bathtub with overhead skylight. Relax, lie back and enjoy the stars above as you bathe! This charming cottage, which can sleep a maximum of four people, is fully furnished and equipped with cookware, dinnerware, and kitchen linen. Beds have mattress pads, sheets, pillows and pillowcases, blankets and bed spreads or comforters. There are at least one bath towel, hand towel, and washcloth per person plus some extras.
