Carmel is known for its history,
natural features, ambience, and abundance of cultural and
shopping venues. To this day, Carmel has no addresses;
instead the local residents walk to the downtown post office
to retrieve their mail. The reason for this is so every
neighbor can meet one another and become friends. This
tradition goes back to the 1900’s.
