The sights and sounds from this Ocean Harbor House two-bedroom, two-bath condo are incomparable. The single-story, beachfront unit has unobstructed, panoramic views of the ocean and/or harbor and city lights from every window and is within earshot of the soothing surf. Overlooking, and just steps away from, Del Monte Beach, it is ideal for watching passing whales, dolphins, and otters, as well as a great variety of sea birds – binoculars are provided for your viewing pleasure.

The unit is tastefully furnished, and comfortably accommodates up to four people. The great room features a large TV (with cable), DVD player, and Bose Wave Radio/CD player. If you wish to stay connected, DSL is available.

Cable TVs with DVD players are provided in each of the two bedrooms. There is a king bed in the master bedroom, which features a tub-sized walk-in stall shower, with seating. In the second bedroom, there are two twin beds. These beds are easily converted to one king – a conversion kit and all linens for the king bed are provided. The hall bath is directly across from the second bedroom, with a shower over tub combination. Pacific Grove’s scenic Lover’s Point is visible from the bedroom windows, and both bedrooms offer ocean and harbor/city views. Imagine viewing the twinkling lights of Monterey from your bedroom every evening!

The great room offers a wood-burning fireplace, full dining table, and breakfast bar. The dining table accommodates up to six people, using the built-in leaf, and is situated to overlook the ocean for romantic or casual dining. Intimate ocean-front dining is also available from the furnished front deck. A well equipped kitchen, with full-sized electric appliances including built-in range/oven, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher, and in-suite washer/dryer provide the ultimate in convenience. Central electric heat keeps the unit comfy and cozy, no matter the season.

Ocean Harbor House is a gated community with a variety of amenities, including two swimming pools, two spas, his and hers saunas, and a fitness room. This unit is conveniently located to all amenities – it is connected by a breezeway to swimming, spa, saunas, and the fitness center.

Located at Del Monte Beach, Ocean Harbor House provides easy access to local attractions. It is a 30 minute walk on the beach to Monterey’s Fisherman’s Wharf, and a short stroll from there to Cannery Row and the famed Monterey Bay Aquarium. Driving time to these attractions is approximately five to ten minutes. Street-side, it is a 10 minute walk to the Naval Postgraduate School. It is also connected to these areas – and to the Victorian treasure and butterfly mecca of Pacific Grove – by a recreation trail, which also extends 20 miles north, so offers bikers, runners, and walkers unlimited opportunities. Carmel, with its wonderful art galleries and fabulous Sunset Beach, is just a bit further south.

Golfers are also well-accommodated at Ocean Harbor House. The Del Monte Golf Course is about two miles away, and Pebble Beach – the golfer’s paradise – is just a few miles to the south.

It is Monterey Bay Property Management’s philosophy that you should need to bring nothing with you except your clothes and your groceries when you are a guest in our vacation rental homes. Each home is fully furnished and equipped with cookware, dinnerware, and kitchen linen. Beds have mattress pads, sheets, pillows, and pillow cases, blankets and bed spreads or comforters. In this unit, there are at least two bath towels, two hand towels, and two washcloths per person plus some extras. There will be enough soap and paper products, and well as basic spices, to get you started comfortably (click here for a complete list!). You will enjoy the luxuries of a pampered guest should you choose this as your accommodation while you visit the Monterey area. Welcome!



Monthly rates include local phone service, cable TV, water, trash collection, and all related taxes, fees and move-out housekeeping. Monthly rates do not include gas and electricity.
