in this beautifully restored 1917 historical property. The
two story main house offers two spacious bedrooms and two
full bathrooms, while a quaint garden cottage with sleeper
sofa and shower provides additional sleeping space for guests.
The
large living room features a stone fireplace, hardwood floors,
and beautiful period woodwork offset by deep plum-colored
walls. Plush upholstered furnishings guarantee comfortable
evenings in front of the fire, watching a movie on CATV/DVD,
or enjoying sweeping views of the bay in front of the large
picture windows. An eclectic collection of glass vases and
object of art adds to lovely atmosphere. The adjoining dining
room features hardwood floors and Craftsman-style cabinetry.
Large windows create a bright interior, warmed by the golden
faux treatment on the walls. The oval dining table seats six
comfortably.
Cooking
will be a pleasure in the spacious kitchen fully equipped
with refrigerator, dishwasher, gas range and oven, microwave
and disposer. Cheerfully decorated in green and white with
coordinating tile, the eat-in kitchen features rich wood cabinetry
and plenty of work space including a large center island which
also seats two. The cozy corner breakfast nook seats four
to six comfortably. Large windows and French doors offer a
full view of the charming garden and backyard area complete
with a large outdoor fireplace. A laundry room, pantry, and
half bath are also located on the main floor.
Each
home is fully furnished and equipped with cookware, dinnerware,
and kitchen linen. Beds have mattress pads, sheets, pillows
and pillow cases, blankets and bed spreads or comforters.
There are at least one bath towel, hand towel, and washcloth
per person plus some extras. There will be enough soap and
paper products to get you started comfortably (click

Upstairs,
the large master suite features a queen size bed, original
built-in cabinetry, and a comfortable seating area in front
of the large corner windows for bay-watching or reading. Enjoy
a relaxing bath in the corner whirlpool tub in the spacious
master bath, which also has a glass shower stall. The adjoining
walk-in closet offers plenty of storage space. The comfortable
guest room has the charm of a bed and breakfast inn, with
a queen size bed, antique armoire and cozy window seat. The
full bathroom located across the hall has a shower stall and
extra seating area with a bay view.
