Pacific Grove is known for its small town feeling, Victorian homes,
Asilomar State Beach, its artistic legacy and the annual migration
of the Monarch butterflies. The city is endowed with more Victorian
houses per capita than anywhere else in America.
The city of Pacific Grove is also known as the site of the Point
Pinos Lighthouse, the oldest continuously-operating lighthouse on
the West Coast, Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History, located in
the historic downtown, and the Stowitts Museum & Library.
Here’s an opportunity to visit Pacific Grove, stay in a registered
Victorian home, and experience the small town feel and wonderful
attractions. Read on about this two-bedroom, one-bathroom gem,
located just two blocks to downtown and one block to the ocean.
Step through the door of this lovely Victorian home onto hardwood
floors, walk down the hall, tempered by beautiful rays of color
through the stained glass windows.
The first door on your left is the master bedroom, “Captains
Quarters,” where you can relax in a queen bed and enjoy your very
own private fireplace in your room.
The guest bedroom is nicely decorated with two twin beds and has a
nice size dresser that will be great to store all the great things
you will find while shopping at Cannery Row and downtown Pacific
Grove.
Down the hall you will find a spacious laundry room with a washer
and gas dryer. Once through the laundry room, you will find the
bathroom that has a walk-in shower.
The house is equipped for your entertainment with Cable TV/DVD/VCR
and Stereo in the living room. Besides the fireplace in the master
bedroom, the house is heated by natural gas.
The living room is a great place to watch TV or play a game. The
charm this Victorian home has is a one of a kind.
The outdoor spaces of this property are just as charming as the
inside. Outside, lounge on the lovely front porch while enjoying the
fresh air and birds chirping. The back yard is fenced and is a great
place for a barbecue.
Each home is fully furnished and equipped with cookware, dinnerware,
and kitchen linen. Beds have mattress pads, sheets, pillows and
pillow cases, blankets and bed spreads or comforters. There are at
least one bath towel, hand towel, and washcloth per person plus some
extras. There will be enough soap and paper products to get you
started comfortably
