The Long-Term rental market
for affordable housing on the Monterey Peninsula is
very tight. The local newspaper, the
Monterey County Herald, has written articles
recently about the shortage of reasonably-priced rental
property.
On the other hand, there is reasonable
availability for the more expensive properties. Our vacancy factor is approximately five percent.
The
best source of available rentals is the newspaper, but
many times, the rentals are already gone by the time
they hit the paper. Another
alternative is to relocate here into a fully-furnished
temporary
rental (and we can help with that - see our
vacation rental section) while you find a suitable
long-term rental. These rentals are fully equipped, so
there is no need to move your household goods twice.

application process.
Please let us know how
Monterey Bay Property Management
can be of the
most service to you. We love the Monterey area, and love
sharing it with people, but are concerned that it is so
difficult these days to locate suitable housing!
